Bespoke Paint Services and Color Matching
I have access an extensive library of original factory paint codes and formulations, enabling me to recreate authentic finishes that preserve historical accuracy. However, given that paints are different than the way they used to be, this is where the blend of art, science, and experience come together. I invite you to come into the shop where I can show you each step involved in mixing the paint to make a matching color.
Each vehicle receives the service customized to your needs, including multiple primer coats, sealant, hand-sanded preparation, and up to seven layers of premium basecoat and clearcoat application.

An Example of Repair Work I’ve Done
This was a 1987 Porsche 911 that had significant damage to its rear quarter panel. The main challenge here is that it’s metal bodywork and while replacement parts exist, it’s challenging to get the fit just right. As you can see, I was able to repair and restore it back, good as new.

I begin each restoration with a comprehensive assessment, providing detailed project proposals that outline scope, timeline, and initial investment starting points. My clients receive regular progress reports with pictures documenting each phase of restoration.
During the restoration process, initial assessments can reveal underlying issues that weren't immediately apparent. A small rust spot or paint imperfection may indicate more extensive metalwork requirements, similar to how home renovation projects sometimes uncover hidden structural concerns. Each vehicle has its own history, and I’ve learned that thorough evaluation often reveals additional work needed to meet my standards.
I maintain transparent communication throughout every project. As I progress through disassembly and assessment phases, I provide updated scope evaluations and discuss any findings that may affect the timeline or budget. This approach ensures you have complete information to make informed decisions about your restoration.
All work is billed on a time and materials basis, with detailed documentation provided for each phase of the project.
At project completion, all completed restorations include comprehensive documentation packages suitable for insurance, judging, and historical record purposes.
